When Covid hit I was 69 & able to keep a decent schedule with my favorite instructors online but it's not the same. I too am a myers briggs super introvert but enjoy my gym friends with whom I spend more time on a daily basis than family. Pre Covid we did margarita nights, and celebrated everything from birthdays to babies. They range in age from teens, 20s,30s to seniors like me. They keep me motivated and vice versa. Everyone is different, but for me working out with a group, being challenged and challenging myself to hang in has been life changing.
