We are a group of boat owners and sailers all around the world (mainly in Europe and USA) that founded a community dedicated to the sharing of old boats. If you are a boat owner and you have difficoulties in selling it, if you can use your boat only for a short period of the year, if you want to give up with spending a lot of money for the manteinance of the boat, or if you wanto to start earning money with your boat, you can leave a post about your boat in our group of facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/boatnsharing/). Just in a while you will find other sailors ready to share your boat costs. The sharing works like this: we fixed 4 “share” (around 4000€/year for a 14 metres sailboat) for each boat, every ‘share’ gives the right to use the boat for 12 weeks in a year, that is one week per month duriing the winter and two consecutive weeks in the summer. If you are a sailer of Boat&sarin you can contact the boat owner and ask for a “share” of his boat. The boatsharer will be supported in fixing an opportune insurance, a contract, sailing contract and we will give you support also if you want to sell your boat in the shortest time.
